Stuart was his mom's (Loxly's On the Rocks) only child and she didn't have any milk, so we imposed on one of Karen Helmrich's aby moms that had 2 kittens born 10 days before Stuart. He got his name by becoming the "white mouse" in between the two abys. If you have seen Stuart in the show ring, you would know he was raised by an aby! Imagine the shock of the judge that expected the huge maine coon male to be indifferent to a feather when the maine coon lept to the top of the sisal pole! The people in the front row gasped and leaned away from the judging table, while the judge calming said "I knew he would do that!" and carefully put the feather on the judging stand so Stuart would come down after it.
